Daytona2006 MISC: Met Bondo in Zephyrhills. Closer to Daytona, BIKES were all we heard, felt, smelled and saw. The sound of thunder was incredible! I was missin' Mermie, but excited to feel the energy of Daytona as we rode Main Street coming into town. We met with our host, Randy.

Main Street: We parked on the strip, shopped the vendors, and sat at The Wreck for drinks and people/bike watching. Everyone loved Randy's '67 Dream.

Loop Ride: w/Sadie, Bondo, Randy, and Daddy D (he drove his car as our tailgunner). Lunch stop was oceanside, and the vittles were great.

EasyRider show and Iron Horse: Day 3, we rode w/Sadie to Destination Daytona, Iron Horse, the Easyriders show, and saw a Rick Fairless bike painted by one of my favs, Vince Goodeve.Iron Horse is an amusement park for bikers on steroids! The beef dinner plate is a killer yummy tradition! TIP: Don't park there; if you park under the boardwalk at IH, your bike will have beer, spit, ciggie butts and crud all over it!

Main Street RIDE: A perfect ending: Randy left me keys to the '67 305 Dream so I could RIDE down Main Street! Sadie took pix of my first solo ride down Main. Guys were hollering at me the whole way, "that's a cool bike" , "what is that", and I was in HEAVEN!THANK YOU, RANDY - YOU PUT THE ICING ON MY DAYTONA CAKE!
